THE BIBLE

We believe the Bible is the inspired, infallible (unalterable) word of God written by holy men of old, as they were moved by the Holy Ghost. (2 Peter 1:20-21).


GOD

We believe in one God who is infinite in power, holy in nature, divine in purpose (Deut. 6:4) He has revealed Himself to humanity as the Father (Creator), as the Son (Savior), and as the Holy Ghost (indwelling Spirit). (1 Timothy 3:16).


JESUS

We believe Jesus is God. And we know that the Son of God is come, and hath given us an understanding, that we may know him that is true, and we are in him that is true, even in his Son Jesus Christ. This is the true God, and eternal life. 1 John 5:20 (Colossians 1:19, 2:9).


THE HOLY SPIRIT

We believe in the death, burial, and resurrection of Jesus. We believe the He ascended on high and has sent His Spirit, the Holy Ghost, which is still filling the hearts of those who diligently seek Him today. We believe the initial evidence of receiving the Holy Ghost is speaking in other tongues as the Spirit gives utterance. (Acts 2:4).


BAPTISM

We believe in baptism by immersion in water in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ for the remission of sins. (Acts 2:38; Colossians 2:12).


LIFESTYLE

We believe in a holy, sanctified life, and the glorious catching away (rapture) of the saints when Jesus returns in the clouds of glory to take his people to heaven. (1 Thessalonians 4:7, 13-17).



Our Expressions of Worship



* We pray together aloud, because in the Bible we read, "They lifted up their voices to God with one accord" (Acts 4:24).

* We lift our hands in praise, because in the Bible we read, "Lift up your hands in the sanctuary, and bless the LORD" (Psalm 134:2).

* We sing with all our hearts because in the Bible we read, "Make a joyful noise unto the LORD, all the earth: make a loud noise, and rejoice, and sing praise" (Psalm 98:4).

* We play musical instruments, because in the Bible we read, "And all the house of Israel played before the LORD on all manner of instruments" (2 Samuel 6:5).

* We clap and shout unto God, because in the Bible we read, "O clap your hands, all ye people; shout unto God with the voice of triumph" (Psalm 47:1).

* We dance before the LORD, because in the Bible we read, "Praise Him with the timbrel and dance: praise Him with stringed instruments and organs" (Psalm 150:4)

* We testify publicly, because in the Bible we read, "I will declare thy name unto my brethren; in the midst of the congregation will I praise Thee" (Psalm 22:22).

* We anoint with oil for divine healing, because in the Bible we read, "Is any sick among you? Let him call for the elders of the church; and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord" (James 5:14).
